Zivolife

Zivolife is an all-natural source of plant-based protein, micronutrients, vitamins and minerals and novel non-starch polysaccharides (dietary fiber), which is herbicide/pesticide free, low carbon, non-GMO, sustainable, non-animal, non-dairy, antibiotic-free, hormone-free.

Zivolife’s proprietary strain of microalgae has been cultivated for many generations. It is believed to have been originally developed from organisms collected from an alpine lake in Germany and was attributed to the health and longevity of the people living there. The polyculture was brought to the US over 50 years ago. The Klebsormidium in Zivolife has been carefully selected and grown under culture conditions for over a century.

Over the last few years, it has been grown in the desert of Peru in partnership with agribusiness partner Alimenta Group which has a 50+ year history of transforming the Peruvian desert into vibrant farms that produce jobs and healthy food for national and international markets. Nestled within the Andes as a backdrop and with year-round sunlight and mild temperatures, the setting at Alimenta Algae is ideal for the outdoor cultivation of Klebsormidium cultures. Labs for ongoing testing and analysis are located in Ica, Peru and Fort Myers, Florida as well as third-party facilities.

The protein content, which represents about 45% of the biomass, is a highly digestible complete protein with all 21 essential amino acids. It also has high levels of vitamins A, C,  E and a wide variety of micronutrients that set it apart from other algae available on the market today.

Zivolife has been reviewed for safe consumption by independent food experts to be compliant with FDA GRAS.
